Runner Profile - Ellie Batley

My aunty was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago whilst only in her early 60s, this diagnois made me realise the devestating impact dementia can have on an individual and their family. This diagnosis also brought to my attention the wonderful job charities such as Dementia Concern do to support those effected and their families. So much joy is brought to my aunty by Dementia Concern, she loves the day centre and the feeling of community that she now has.

In turn, this has motivated me to give back to a charity which gives so much to my aunty and all of the other individuals they support.

Running a marathon will be my biggest challenge yet but it will all be worth it in the end! Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
