Runner Profile - Shakeel Bhamla

Dementia has affected both my Grandfather who sadly passed away of the conditioner, and is currently affecting my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia in her 80’s.

Seeing first-hand the destructive impact that the disease can have on those directly affected alongside the people close to them. I wanted to run for a Dementia Concern and am grateful for the opportunity to be chosen as one of their runners taking part this year.

Donations will directly support Dementia UK's work, funding care, support, and research that can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
